After 13 Years Of Companionship Between This Cat and a Woman, He Now Protects Her Little girl and Listens When She Reads
13 years ago, Erin Merryn met a ginger little cat who required a home. He jumped into her arms and they have been together ever since. Presently over 10, the feline named Bailey has turned into a guardian angel to her kids and is especially close with her 4-year-old daughter.
Erin from Illinois met Little Bailey for the first time when she was still in college, he bounced into her arms, grabbed her with his paws and wouldn't let go.

"He fought with everything he had to keep me from closing the cage after hours sitting on the floor with him. I was attached immediately and decided that I would take a risk and try hiding a kitten in my college dorm where animals are obviously not allowed," Erin told Catstore.co
She hid the cat into her dormitory on the but after seven days, the cat was discovered by the staff and Erin was given a 48 hours notice to remove the cat. "I was devastated. My folks previously had a pooch and two felines at home, and they were not going to take another in."
After a few telephone calls, Erin discovered a lady in her 80's who agreed to take Bailey. "I cried nearly the whole four hours back to school. At the point when my father called and heard me crying he stated, 'Erin there will always be other kittens out there.' I explained, 'no dad, not a kitten like Bailey. He is one of a kind, and you will never find another with a personality like his."
Bailey was having a difficult time adjusting in the new house so Erin quickly offered to take him back as it was a winter break for college. "I plotted for a month to persuade my folks to give me a chance to keep him. Mother, at last, gave in. Father never said yes however I won and got my way."
Fast forward to four years ago, Erin had Abby, her wonderful little girl. She didn't have even an inkling how Bailey would react about the new addition when she brought her home from the emergency clinic.

Bailey remained close by, guarding, cuddling and giving her affection and murmurs. As Abby developed, he turned into her defensive sibling, looking out for her at all times.
The sweet ginger boy was there when Abby started crawling. He was there to witness her first spoken word. Bailey didn't want to miss all the wonderful adventures along with Abby and would follow her everywhere around the house.

Bailey feels so loved when Abby tells her their daily stories. He will nuzzle her chin and put his head on her shoulder in pure bliss.
