A Woman Wanted to Adopt a Cat That Nobody Wanted and Found This Beautiful 20-Year-Old Kitty Instead, Waiting for a Home

A couple of days prior, Tracie Peddy from Kitt Crusaders, a rescue group in Los Angeles, found a kind super senior tomcat. Tracie conveyed a request on Facebook and trusted somebody exceptional could open their entryway and hearts to this deserving good boy who was left homeless when his owners divorced and could not keep him.

Thais Yamamoto, who fostered her precious two kitties from Kitt Crusaders, found out about Diesel’s story that evening.

“I’ve always wanted a senior cat or one with special needs — I wanted a cat that nobody would adopt. Kittens are easily adapted so I waited for my special cat,” Thais told Feline Daily. When she saw Diesel and his age, something just clicked. “I didn’t think twice and sent Crusaders a message. They arranged for me to pick up Diesel the very next day at West LA shelter.”

The kitty was exceptionally dirty and had mats and tangles on his fur. I could only notice how neglected he must have been. He looked miserable yet never whined amid the test as though he realized that he was getting help.

The first night was somewhat unpleasant after the long experience, however, Diesel was thankful to have somebody close by to stay with him. The following day, he was back at the vet, getting a shower and a lion cut. The sweet kid right away felt better without all the tangled fur.

They ran a couple of tests to check whether he had any medical problems that should have been tended to. “Regardless I’m hanging tight for the outcomes yet it doesn’t appear to be anything stressful. I need to ensure that he’s healthy,” Thais revealed to Feline Daily. Diesel came home that day a brand new kitty. He felt more youthful, confident with his tail held high, and his personality began to come through.

Thais acquainted Diesel with her other feline, Sara, who acknowledged and accepted him immediately.

“I know it will take some time for him to adjust and feel safe again, but love heals everything,” Thais said.

Thais gave the sweet senior cat a chance so he can live out his days in comfort and lovely environment.

It’s been three days since Diesel arrived. He’s making the most of his retirement, lolling in the affection showered by his forever family.
