After a trek to the ER, the little cat was brought once again from the verge yet shaken from the scary situation.
Moonglade got back home with the little cat, named Opie, and didn’t know how her feline Andy, additionally a rescued cat, would respond. When Andy heard the little one’s squeak, he came running.
“Andy welcomed him immediately and wouldn’t stop hugging him and kissing him,” Moonglade shared with Feline Daily.
He encouraged Opie, and the two right away developed a very close bond. Just like Opie, Andy was found at a gas station and saved from near death.
The following morning, Moonglade woke up to two snuggle bugs, purring for attention and love.
Throughout the following couple of weeks, Moonglade would get up like clockwork around evening time to feed the kitty. After each supper, Opie would creep onto her chest, twist up, and nod off purring.
Andy was never a long way from the little cat, keeping him and his human mother company throughout the night. “Andy gives his brother lots of love and has been teaching him about the litter box, how to land on his feet, how to hunt and play, but mostly how to cuddle.”
They are totally indivisible.
“I was adopted… there’s always been something missing, even after I met my birth family, but Andy saved my life,” Moonglade said. “And now Opie seems to be doing the same for Andy. What goes around comes around.”
It’s been a month and a half since Opie joined the family.
