A lady from Georgia adopted an almost visually impaired feline and returned to the shelter when she discovered that he has a sibling who was additionally brought into the world blind.
About a year ago, Lola Ayers went to the shelter searching to adopt another feline. She met a kitty named Humphrey who was brought into the world with an inherent condition called Microphthalmia, in which the eyes are unusually small.

Humphrey has exceptionally poor sighted yet is incredibly versatile and utilizes his other elevated senses to enable him to explore and do things simply like any other feline.

"I knew that Humphrey was the one when I first saw him. The way he interacted with me compared to the other cats I'd seen at the shelter, he was immediately attached to me," Lola told Catstore.co

While she was getting some information about Humphrey, she saw another feline who likewise had an eye anomaly. She rounded out the administrative work and returned home with her newly adopted cat.

Over the course of several weeks, she couldn't quit pondering the other feline and thought about whether that kitty had discovered a home. "I went on Facebook and found that he was safeguarded by Purr Nation in Woodstock, Georgia," Lola said.

She contacted the salvage and was astounded to discover that the kitty that she had been pondering, is Humphrey's birth brother, and he was all the while searching for a home. Lola promptly offered to take him in.

Following seven months, the two siblings were back together in their forever home. Humphrey immediately recognized his brother by his scent and followed him around the house. Edgar was a bit shy after having gone through eye surgery and recovery.

"In the wake of becoming used to his environment, Edgar began to remember Humphrey, and now maybe they were never separated," Lola revealed to Love Yowl.

They are back together, totally indistinguishable.

"They're both defensives of one another, and they're continually watching to ensure the other is safe," Lola disclosed to catstore.co

"Humphrey is definitely the protector since Edgar can't see as well."

"Their personalities are the sweetest, they love to cuddle and talk to you," Lola told Catstore.co  "They love to run around the house and get into trouble together!
